The sizzling power of Shostakovich’s Fifth, follows Ravel’s piquant Alborada del gracioso and Brahms’ passionate Double Concerto performed by Lionel and Thelma Handy who last played it with us over thirty years ago!
It's going to be a fantastic end to the season. 

Only a few weeks later we return for our Children's concert which includes the classic Tubby the Tuba, famously narrated by Danny Kaye back in 1947. The programme also includes Richard Brown’s Pageant of the Seas and Saint-Saëns’ much-loved Carnival of the Animals.
